Joomla has given my business the chance to combine my design skills with database driven websites, with out having to write php code. It has given me the freedom to offer this type of website for a fraction of cost from larger website design companies.
To offer this service I have also setup a hosting services which offers value for money and excellent support.
This system provides my clients with the ability to manage their own sites, through a CMS (content management system)

Website Design, XHTML and CSS
The way websites are constructed has changed dramatically over the last few years, It has almost come full circle from its humble beginnings as a in-line text file with pictures, through table based design, with structure and layout (but not search engine friendly) to it current format where the content (in-line text file with pictures) is separated from the design using XHTML and CSS...

My First Blog
Hi - this is my first blog site, even though I have been using the internet for years. It will be interesting to see how soon people find my blog. I am a graphic design, website designer and software trainer.
I have been training in graphic and web based software more or less from when it started way back in the 80's. Yes - there are older generations who use and understand computers. Through this blog I am hoping to share some of my knowledge, and help other to grow and develop.
However, I am still learning myself and if any one has tips and ideas they want to share... I will be happy to pass them on and use them.
